SANDY HIROM (XLIF - Extreme Lateral Interbody Fusion)
My life is incredible now! Everyday, for 30 years, I have lived with constant pain. I always knew that I had a high tolerance level for pain. I have seen many doctors and no one could really help me. I thought the pain would never end. I finally couldn’t take the pain any longer and I was tired of all the pain pills. I had tried pills, therapy, injections and even stretching. I was always afraid of doctors until I met Dr. Braly. Life is now great! I work all the time. I painted the patio, the storm cellar and even tiled my patio. There are so many things that I do now, that I couldn’t even dream of doing before. I have been free from pain pills for almost a year now!My Experience with Dr. Braly and his staff was great. Dr. Braly is the first doctor that I’ve ever talked to that didn’t scare me to death. He has a very calming voice. He is very positive and confident in what he can do for his patients. I wish I would have seen Dr. Braly sooner. He is a great doctor. He communicates well and returns emails quickly. I tell everyone to not waste any more time… Go see Dr.Braly! He is honest and will tell you the truth.
SHIRLEY BARROW (Two Level ACDF Surgery)
Life was awful before I met Dr. Braly! I was about to give up hope, because nothing would help. I couldn’t do anything. Just getting out of bed was excruciating! I had constant pain with no relief, from my shoulders, elbow to my neck. I couldn’t hold anything. had been to many doctors and had tried injections. That would work for 2 to 3 days and then it would just progress to get worse. I had delayed taking care of my pain, because I had heard of horror stories from friends who had been to other doctors. I wish I would have met Dr. Braly sooner and had my surgery; because I felt marvelous from the very first day after my surgery. I could immediately grip things and could make my bed and clean my house. I only had to take pain medication for two days. I recuperated very quickly.I love Dr. Braly and I love how he prayed for me before my surgery. He was so confident and patient. He made me feel good about the surgery. His entire staff was great and very helpful. I recommend all my friends and family to see Dr. Braly. He has the best bedside manner and knows his stuff. He is the most caring doctor that I have ever met in all my years!
LARRY OGLE (Laminectomy)
I’ve always been very active. I’m retired now, but I work very hard and I lift heavy on my ranch. I run three to four miles a week, bike 15 to 20 miles and golf a couple of times a week. I had scoliosis and had a degenerative disc. I started having a lot of pain and discomfort in my hip and leg when I sat down or stood up. I experienced intense pain!Dr. Braly did a laminectomy procedure on me. I immediately felt better right after surgery. In about four weeks I was back to most of my normal daily activities. In six months I could run and play golf again. I am back to my lifestyle before my pain. I cannot thank Dr. Braly enough! He has a wonderful bedside manner. I enjoyed his staff…they were great! I even thanked Dr. Hines for referring me to Dr. Braly. I have referred several friends to Dr. Braly. I highly recommend Dr. Braly, if you want relief from your pain!

DOLLIE CONNER (Pedicle Subtraction Osteomyelitis)
When I came to Dr. Braly, I had already had two screws in my spinal cord from previous surgeons. I was told that no one could help fix me. I’ve been in pain for 18 months. I couldn’t walk straight or walk very long for that matter. Dr. Braly had to rebuild my backbone. After my surgery I could hold my back up straight. I haven’t taken pain medication since. The staff was wonderful. I couldn’t ask for a better rehab and therapist. Dr. Braly was concerned about me and was very compassionate. I couldn’t ask for a better doctor. In fact, I’m sending my daughter to him. I want to tell everyone who has back pain to go see Dr. Braly. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. I’m doing fantastic!
CAROLYN KAMP (Lamnioplasty)
My life was miserable before I met Dr. Braly. My right side was numb from head to toe. I had had three strokes and couldn’t walk very well. I fell a lot, because my legs would collapse. After surgery last February, I woke up and the numbness was gone! I had feeling in my hand right away. I now have full range of movement in my neck and very little arthritis. My knees don’t buckle anymore. My life is so much better now! The staff was wonderful too! Dr. Braly is easy to talk to and let me ask all kinds of questions. I also appreciated that Dr. Braly prayed for me, right before my surgery. I definitely recommend him for any back problems!
I thank God every morning when I wake up for Dr. Braly! My life was miserable and I felt worthless because I couldn’t do anything. I had a double curvature spine since my childhood. My mother had to hand make my dresses, because on one side I was two inches shorter. At one point, I had to crawl around the floor just to get around. I just put up with pain for too long. After coming to Dr. Braly… I don’t hurt anymore! I can feel my sheets again! I can now walk out to our field and watch the boys play again. I can now go to the rodeo and sit for two nights in a row. I don’t even need pain pills. I can take my grandkids to the mall to shop. Life is wonderful! The staff in the office and at Community Hospital were also wonderful. The therapy guys were perfect. They let me go at my own speed. I could not have asked for better care. They were all so caring and helpful. I was very pleased. I had 100% success! It was totally worth it!
I got into Dr. Braly the same day that I called. I didn’t have to wait at all. He was very concerned, very pleasant and easy to talk to. He let me ask lots of questions. He made sure my prescriptions were taken care of, so I wouldn’t have to worry. The staff was wonderful!
Before I met Dr. Braly, I was miserable with pain! I had problem walking and had to use a wheelchair. I had a problem with my arms and my hands and fingers were numb. I couldn’t reach high. After surgery I could walk again… Without my walker! I could walk 500 feet the first day after my surgery! I didn’t have to take any pain meds after I left the hospital. I can now work around the house.
Life is good! If you’re thinking about having laminoplasty surgery, I’d say, “Go for it! Go for Braly!
BEN BARRESI (XLIF - Extreme Lateral Interbody Fusion)
I have always been very active. I played football and I enjoy playing golf. Before I met Dr Braly, I was in excruciating pain. The pain drastically affected my sleep. It took me almost 4 hours to get to sleep at night! In the morning, I couldn’t even get out of bed. I was consumed with my pain, and often wondered how I was going to get through the day. I knew then, that it was time to do something.I was a little nervous before the surgery. But, Dr. Braly put me at ease and walked me through, what was about to happen. He even prayed with me, and made me feel better about everything. After the surgery, they had me walking the next day. I only needed assistance, getting out of bed for a little bit. In about a week I could get out of bed by myself. I resumed my normal daily activity in about 3 weeks. After about 4 months, I was completely back to my normal lifestyle, before the pain. The office staff aways had a smile on their face and we’re always very helpful. I loved the hospital staff at Community Hospital. Everyone was great!Dr. Braly proved to be everything, and more than I expected. It was a great experience all the way around! I highly recommend Dr. Brett Braly!
