About

Dr. Eric Johnson is fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon and a proud native Oklahoman. He completed both his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Oklahoma and went on to finish his orthopedic surgery residency training at the OU Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. Following residency, Dr. Johnson pursued advanced subspecialty training in shoulder and elbow surgery in San Antonio, TX. His fellowship was accredited by the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) and he is one of only a handful of providers in the state of Oklahoma to have completed training specifically in shoulder and elbow surgery through the ASES.

  • Dr. Johnson takes great pride in caring for the community he grew up in and the community where he is now raising his own family. He treats patients of all ages, from children to seniors, and is committed to making high-quality orthopedic care accessible to everyone. His practice accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid (SoonerCare), as well as workers' compensation claims and personal injury cases arising from accidents and motor vehicle collisions.

Whether you are an athlete, an injured worker, or simply someone whose shoulder or elbow pain is getting in the way of everyday life, Dr. Johnson is dedicated to getting you back to doing what matters most.

Reverse Shoulder Replacement:

For Complex Shoulder Fractures

A step-by-step look at reverse shoulder replacement used in fracture cases, highlighting implant positioning and surgical precision. This approach restores function in patients where traditional repair may not be effective.

Rotator Cuff Repair:

Biceps Tenodesis

An inside look at rotator cuff repair with biceps tenodesis, showing how damaged tissue is repaired and stabilized to support shoulder strength, mobility, and long-term function.

How Shoulder Stabilization Surgery Works

Remplissage Procedure

A detailed overview of shoulder stabilization using the remplissage procedure, demonstrating how the technique helps address instability and reduce the risk of repeat shoulder dislocation.

Labral Repair

For Shoulder Stability

A closer look at labral repair and how it helps restore shoulder stability after injury. This procedure is designed to repair damaged tissue and support more reliable shoulder movement.
